India is a largest democratic country in the globe apart from that it is the second largest country when it comes to theresident. Indian politics is one of the complicated politics in the world, as it is a democratic country that is why there is election commission to arrange the voting system. There are many political parties in the Indian Politics which participate in the election campaign.

The people used to vote average 26 candidates of the parties. There are total 543 territorial constituency seats.  The capital of India is Delhi, when an elected party gets a majority then the party becomes Government. The party can rule the India for five years or until re-election if the party fails to show the majority or at least more than 50% vote in the parliament.  It was found that there are more than 600 million people in India.

How Are The Elections Held And New Government Established?

The election commission used to hold the election at different levels. When it comes to national level elections, then it is occupied by two significant levels after that the government is decided. When it comes to the state-level election, the elections are held in villages, town or city. To become Government or ruling party, more than 50% seats are a must in parliament.

Indian Constitution is the largest Constitution in the world. Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar has written the Indian Constitution. The Constitution used to cover the politics in India with thepre-defined framework.

States Parties And Registered Parties

There are total 52 parties in India recognized as a state party. Apart from that, there are total 1112 parties which include both recognized and unrecognized party. There is total six recognized party which is given below.

  • Bhartiya Janata Party.
  • Bahujan Samaj Party.
  • Nationalist Congress Party.

Lok Sabha and its sessions usually start from 11 A.M. and end at 6 P.M. although there is a lunch break of 1 hour between 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. the Lok Sabha are closed on Saturday, Sunday and holidays.

Importance Of President In Indian Politics

President is the servant of India, he/she is also considered as the head of India. The President also appoints Prime Minister in India from the party. The judges are nominated by the president to the Supreme Court as well as High Court. Upon there commendation of the President, the houses of the Parliament meet. President can dissolve the lower house of the Parliament i.e. Lok Sabha. Each bill must be assent by the President of India before it becomes Law.
